MCEEA Awards Emerge Consulting Employer of the Year

press release 2020

Lansing, Mich. – Emerge Consulting, a recruiting firm that develops long term workforce strategies to attract, develop and retain talent, announces their most recent honor of being awarded 2019-2020 Employer of the Year by the Michigan Career Educators and Employers Alliance.

“Our goal on campus has always been to promote our client’s brand rather than our own,” Managing Partner of Emerge Consulting, Joe Bamberger, explained. “It is a tremendous honor to be recognized for the work we do to support our partners.”

Emerge was presented with the award on Friday, October 2, at MCEEA’s quarterly meeting. Each year MCEEA honors an employer partner for their outstanding contributions in promoting internships, cooperative education programs and career opportunities in the State of Michigan. Past winners of the award have included the State of Michigan, Quicken Loans, Meijer, Denso and TechSmith.

Emerge represents companies at campuses across the nation by becoming an extension of their team with a focus on promoting their partner’s employer brand. They also promote long term succession planning by attracting and developing entry-level talent for their clients.

“What makes emerge so unique is our focus on organizations in a variety of industries. Working in so many different verticals has allowed us to understand student’s skillsets and connect them with the right opportunities,” said Director of Early Talent at Emerge Consulting, Theresa Hickey.

The mission of MCEEA is to promote and maximize career potential and the advancement of internship, cooperative education, and employment within the State of Michigan through collaborative relationships among employers, colleges, and universities. Emerge is honored to be recognized for aiding in that mission.
