Pleasant Ridge, MI – Emerge Consulting is launching EmergeSkilled to connect students on a non-traditional educational path with career learning opportunities.
Emerge believes in connecting skills with opportunity. Many career paths do not require a bachelor’s degree, and we have gotten to a place where there is a stigma around not going to college.
EmergeSkilled is breaking that stigma. The platform is designed to connect employers with students who attend Career & Technical Education high schools, trade & specialty schools, community colleges, and/or certificate-based programs.
“There are many paths to learning the skills one needs to start a career,” said Joe Bamberger, Managing Partner of Emerge Consulting. “EmergeSkilled provides a resource to those students who have chosen a different path other than pursuing a bachelor’s degree right out of high school.”
The platform is free for schools to implement and will provide them with a tool to provide a better experience for students and corporate partners. Students will have increased interaction and visibility to employers looking to hire students with their skillsets. Students will have the resources to research companies, and career opportunities and match them with employers based on their background.
For corporate partners – the EmergeSkilled platform allows them to connect with their community and attract the students who are learning the skills they covet. Through the platform, they can promote their employer brand, post jobs, and proactively build pipelines of students who have the right background of skills.
Schools and employers can both learn more at www.EmergeSkilled.com.
